The Association of Surgeons of India stands today, as one of the largest and most respected associations of surgeons in the world. For over eight decades, ASI has remained committed to advancing surgical science, promoting excellence in surgical education, nurturing young surgeons, and upholding high standards of patient care. ASICON is the pinnacle of this mission - a confluence of knowledge, innovation, experience and friendship.
As a Past President and presently serving as the International Convener of ASI, it is particularly gratifying to witness the ever-expanding global footprint of our Association. ASICON 2027 will bring together eminent surgeons, academicians, researchers and innovators from India and across the world, creating an unparalleled platform for scientific exchange, international collaboration and professional growth.
Kochi, the Queen of the Arabian Sea, is a city where history meets modernity and cultures have converged for centuries. Renowned for its warmth, hospitality and breath-taking natural beauty, Kerala provides an ideal backdrop for learning, reflection and fellowship. I have no doubt that the Organising Committee will deliver an exceptional conference that will remain etched in our memories.
